After being postponed last year, Up North Pride is returning this year.

Join Up North Pride October 13-17 for the annual Pride Celebration.

This year’s festivities include the Pride Ride, a short bike ride from F&M Park to downtown Traverse City, and the annual Sign Making Party at Little Fleet.

New to the schedule this year is Pride Comedy Night at Short’s Brewing Company in Elk Rapids on Friday, October 15.

All Up North Pride events are designed to be fun and free with the exception of Comedy Night.

Tickets for the comedy night can be purchased here.

On Saturday there will be a full day of festivities with food and drink sourced from several local locations.

The annual Pride Picnic Celebration begins at 1 p.m. at F&M Park and will be followed by our Pride Rally and Visibility Walk through downtown Traverse City to the open space.

On Saturday night there will be Drag Night, with BenDeLaCreme, ex-RuPaul’s Drag Race, followed by Silent Disco.

The final event in the annual pride celebration is the Big Gay Brunch on Sunday, October 17.

Go for the food and stay for the Judy Garland themed cabaret.
