LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – UK Healthcare has released a second video in its “Voices from the Front Lines” series. The series highlights the stories of frontline staff caring for COVID-19 patients.
In the second video, Rev. Jay Fulton shares his take on telling spiritual caregivers that they cannot visit their patients.
“Unfortunately, to keep people safe, we can’t have them here. I never thought I should look at a pastor and say I can’t see your people, ”said Reverend Jay Fulton, Chaplain, UK Healthcare Pastoral Serices. “It hurts my soul.”
Reverend Fulton has been chaplain at UK Healthcare for 11 years.
