Peter A. Yeaton Jr., 67, of Greenfield, NH, died on September 6, 2021.

Born March 30, 1954, he was the son of Ann B. (Wright) Boden and the late Peter A. Yeaton Sr. His sister Christina Yeaton predeceased him.

Originally from New Hampshire, he attended Northeastern University. He was an exceptional athlete and enjoyed playing hockey, basketball and baseball.

Peter retired from the Hollis school system after more than 40 years in college. He was a beloved high school baseball coach, leading the team to the state finals in the late 1980s. He also devoted many hours to ensuring that schools provided an enjoyable environment for them. students and other staff.

Peter loved sports and collected sports memorabilia. He was an excellent photographer, loved to travel and visited many sporting venues across the country with old Boston Garden being his favorite. He loved the outdoors and loved to create wonderful exhibits of various holidays for the enjoyment of family, friends and neighbors.

Peter was excellent at everything he thought about and his sharp wit, sense of humor and kindness will be missed by many friends and family.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his two sisters and four brothers: Deborah Hayden of Laconia, NH, Marya Coutoumas of Merrimack, NH, Mark Yeaton of Hudson, NH, Kevin Yeaton of Merrimack, NH, Sean Yeaton of Mont Vernon, NH, and Shane Yeaton of Auburn, NH, along with their spouses and several nieces and nephews.
