Jacksonville, Florida – For many neighborhoods, it has been two weeks since measurable rain fell. The pattern is getting progressively wetter this week.
Action News Jax meteorologist Garrett Bedenbaugh says today will be partly to mostly cloudy and still warm with highs in the mid-80s, near 90 inland. A few showers develop later this afternoon and this evening, but it is not raining on everyone.

There will be wet weather the next few days, especially Wednesday and Friday. A few showers and storms persist over the weekend, which could impact the Jaguars’ game against the Titans on Sunday.
TROPICS: Hurricane Sam is in the North Atlantic and is heading towards Iceland. Yeah, it’s up there. Sam will be going post-tropical tomorrow. Always follow an area of low pressure east of the Bahamas towards the east coast of the United States. Development does not seem likely with this system. While this may slightly increase our threat of rain, it will not affect us.
