TYRONE – The Tyrone boys edged out Philipsburg-Osceola, 25-30, and Bald Eagle Area, 15-50, with help from Adam Detwiler’s third time of 19:48 in high school cross country action Tuesday afternoon.
Individual winner Chad Muckey of Philipsburg won the race in 17:44.
The PO girls beat Tyrone, 23-39, despite the Lady Eagles’ Beth Pearson winning the individual race in 24:13.

The tiger boys go their separate ways
CLEARFIELD – The Hollidaysburg cross-country team beat Clearfield, 21-40, behind a third place for Chris Love in 18 minutes and a fourth place for Ben Love at the same time.
Bellefonte dominated Hollidaysburg, 21-40, with the help of time-winning Chase Ebeling.
Alli Burk of Hollidaysburg was second for the girls in 23:31, but Bellefonte (23-32) and Clearfield (24-41) defeated the Lady Tigers.
