Fall events take place at Brush Library – The Fort Morgan Times

It looks like fall has finally arrived in Brush.

As the weather cools and you spend more time indoors, don’t forget to see what the East Morgan County Library District has to offer.

We have new books appearing every week.

Our fall adult reading contest is now available. Our adult programmer has prepared a fun contest.

If you are an aspiring writer, come to our November Novel Preparation Program on Thursdays in October from 6 to 7:30 pm Brainstorm for November writing coming up.

If book clubs are more your thing, pick up a copy of this month’s Shelf Indulgence book, “The Ocean at the End of the Road,” by Neil Gaiman. Then you can enjoy refreshments and discuss the book with others on October 26 at 6 p.m.

For the kids, we have story time for toddlers at 10 a.m. on Wednesday and 10:15 a.m. on Friday.

Kids’ Fun Time for the Kindergarten to Grade 5 crowd is a creative craft time on Wednesdays at 3:15 p.m.

The activities for teens of the TAG team are on Mondays at 6:15 p.m.

The Tween and Teen Book and Movie Club meets monthly. Check at the library for exact dates and times.

We are looking for community members to sit on our board of directors. This group oversees the budgetary and state mandated aspects of our district. You can withdraw a request at the library reception. They are expected on Friday October 8.
