36 new cases of COVID-19 in Tuolumne, 12 in Calaveras

Tuolumne County Public Health reports 36 new cases of COVID-19 since yesterday’s report. New cases reported today include 8 cases aged 17 or younger and 6 cases aged 60 or older. The breakdown by sex and age is; 1 girl and 2 boys from 0 to 11 years old, 3 girls and 2 boys from 12 to 17 years old, 4 women and 1 man from 18 to 29 years old, 4 women and 3 men from 30 to 39 years old, 3 women and 3 men from 40 to 49 years old, 3 women from 50-59 years old, 3 women and 1 man from 60 to 69 years old and 2 men from 70 to 79 years old.

Of the 36 new community cases, 30 were not vaccinated and 6 were vaccinated. Of the population of Tuolumne eligible for vaccination, 59% were vaccinated.
