“For Breast Cancer Awareness Month I would like to share more of my personal journey from my first diagnosis to my second,” Shannon wrote on Instagram alongside photos of her with a nosebleed and resting. in bed in Cookie Monster pajamas.
“In 2015, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had a mastectomy and had chemo and radiation therapy,” she recapitulated. “I had a lot of nosebleeds from the chemo. I don’t know if any of you went through this. I was also more than tired. I cheered myself up by putting on pajamas. fun that my friend Kristy gave me. Did they really cheer me up? Yes !! Lol. Shannen has been very honest about her cancer journey from the start. “I feel like I have a responsibility in my more public life, which I separate from my acting life …” she recently said during a virtual panel for her new film Lifetime List of a life.
