Just after 3 p.m. CT today, the unaffiliated Twitch bot who follows Twitch partner bans tweeted that popular streamer ASMR Amouranth has been banned from the platform. Amouranth’s Twitch channel URL confirms this since she picks up the “Sorry.” Unless you have a time machine, this content is not available ”.
Amouranth herself confirmed the ban with a tweet saying “forbidden everywhere”. This is his fifth recorded Twitch ban since 2019, with his last previous ban occurring in June.
Her main Instagram account with millions of followers has also been deactivated. But Amouranth’s Instagram “alt” account, Amouranth Too, has not been deleted. His official TikTok account also appears to be banned.
Amouranth has not yet commented on the reason for these account bans and deactivations. She gained thousands of followers in May for her controversial Jacuzzi streams, which resulted in a temporary restriction on ad revenue for her Twitch channel.
Most recently, Amouranth broadcast ASMR content on Twitch to thousands of viewers with suggestive stream titles like “Twins licking the mic”. In her recent streams, Amouranth licks an ear-shaped ASMR microphone while a mirrored prerecorded loop performs alongside her as the Amouranth ‘twin’.
It is not known if these social media deactivations are related to its Twitch content or its more explicit content on other platforms.
