INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Another round of 80 ° temperatures to close the weekend. The risk of thunderstorms returns on Monday.
Sunday:
Generally sunny and very summery, with temperatures more typical of August. Highs will be around 15 ° above average, with numbers reaching the low and mid-80s this afternoon.
Sunday night:
Mainly clear and very warm. The lowest fall in the upper 60s
On Monday:
The morning will be dry and sunny. The cold front entering in the late afternoon and evening will trigger showers and storms across much of the state.
It is possible that the storms inside the line are from the strong to severe side. Destructive winds and heavy hail will be the main threats. We cannot rule out a rapid rotation of a tornado.
Monday’s highs hit the low in the mid-80s.
8 day forecast:
Temperatures will stay well above average for much of the week. The next system will move Thursday and Friday, providing scattered showers to the region on both days. Much cooler temperatures for next weekend, with highs returning to near-normal levels in the ’60s.
