After consecutive losses, the New England Patriots will try to return to the winning column at a stadium that has been kind to them in the past: NRG Stadium in Houston, the site of two of the Patriots super bowl wins. Obviously, however, the dynasty days are long gone and Bill Belichick’s team traveled south trying to get close to .500 again.
Between them and a record 2-3 are the Houston Texans – themselves owners of a 1-3 record after four weeks of the regular season. Neither team have played particularly impressive football so far this season, but there are many differences between them. For starters, the Patriots enter the game with a +1 scoring differential over Houston’s -49.
Needless to say, New England will have a great opportunity to win their second game of the Mac Jones era. It still won’t be easy, given that the club is missing four starters along the offensive line and will need to be successful in defense without starting cornerback Jalen Mills.
Overall, however, there is a lot to look forward to. Let’s get the party started!
