The man accused of sending bombs to critics of President Trump should plead guilty next week in a federal court in Manhattan, according to the court's record.
The accused, Cesar A. Sayoc Jr., a fervent supporter of Trump, arrested last fall in Plantation, Florida, sent homemade bombs created with PVC pipes and shards of glass to his eyes. Eminent Democrats, including Hillary Clinton and former President Barack Obama, as well as regarding CNN and actor Robert DeNiro, authorities said.
The court entry only indicates that a plea is scheduled for Thursday, but it does not say what charges Mr. Sayoc will plead.
