The No. 15 Montana Grizzlies are struggling during their first-round match in the NCAA Tournament against the No. 2 Wolverines of Michigan on Thursday night.
Michigan leads 34-21 at half-time and has led to double-digits since taking a 17-6 lead with over 11 minutes to go. It seems even worse when digging through the numbers; Montana scored 27.3% of the field (9 of 33), 1 of 11 on three points and 2 of 4 on the free throw line. They are lucky enough to "only" be 13 to a terrific Michigan team.
And there is a piece from the first period that summed up perfectly Montana's offensive struggles. Montana senior, Bobby Moorehead, made a great game for a flight … and then tinkered with the dissenting dunk.

Yuck. Even the extremely High percentage shots do not fall for the Grizzlies.
