A 5-year-old Texas boy was shot in the head when his four-year-old brother found a gun inside their home, police and relatives said.

The boy, shot dead in Fort Worth shortly before noon Sunday, was pronounced dead at the hospital, Fort Worth Police spokesman Gezim Pollozani told The Post.

Investigators are still trying to determine whether the shooting was accidental or intentional. No charges were laid Monday morning, Pollozani said.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's office subsequently identified the victim as Truth Albright, according to KXAS.

Truth was at home with his older brother and his mother at the time of the shooting. Investigators and murder investigators from a unit dedicated to crimes against children were preparing Sunday night, police said.

A neighbor told Fort Worth Star-Telegram that he did not know the family, but regularly saw two boys playing in front of the house.

The boy's mother has five other children, according to an online fundraiser set up to cover her burial expenses.

According to the WFAA, two more children were shot dead Sunday in separate incidents in Arlington, including a six-year-old boy in serious condition after being shot in the head of his 8-year-old brother, and an 8 year old girl's buttocks that should recover in what is believed to be an accidental shootout.
