Missouri State University invites alumni and friends to return to campus to celebrate Back home October 15-16.
After more than a year of virtual events due to COVID-19, in-person events are back, making # BearsHomecoming2021 the place to be.
“We are so excited about Homecoming this year,” said Debbie Branson, Associate Director of relations with elders in the state of Missouri. “We hope everyone comes to campus for the biggest MarooNation party of the year! “

50th Anniversary (Classes 1970-71), 10:30 a.m., Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts
- Join classmates for lunch, a class photo, birthday certificate presentation, and a time to share memories. After the gathering, board a shuttle bus for a campus tour to see what’s new on campus. Register now with the alumni association.
October 16
Bear Band Return Parade9:00 a.m. John Q. Hammons Drive
- Kick off Saturday’s Homecoming celebration by watching marching bands, floats and parade entrances pass through campus.
Bears Basketball scrum, 10 a.m., JQH Arena
- Check out the 2021 Bears and Lady Bears basketball teams.
Breakfast with baby boomers, 10 a.m., Foster Recreation Center.
- Bring your kids to our non-contact breakfast with the Boomer experience. Enjoy great food and get your pic with Boomer. The event costs $ 5 for children and $ 7 for adults (registration in advance). Places are limited, so Register now today.
Golden Bear Reunion Luncheon, 10:30 a.m., Plaster Students Union Ballroom
- An Exclusive Luncheon for the Golden Bears: All alumni who graduated or last attended the state of Missouri 50 years or more ago. Register now with the alumni association.
Tailgate at Bearfest Village, 11 a.m., BearFest Village (north of Plaster Stadium)
- Before the soccer game, enjoy the food, music and fun. Campus organizations and departments will host tents for you to visit. Alumni who stop by to update their contact information at the Alumni Association tent will receive free hot dogs.
Bears Football vs. Indiana State, 2 p.m., Plaster Stadium
- Support the Bears football team and watch the Homecoming crowning glory at halftime. Tickets ranging from $ 16 to $ 31.
