Los Angeles County public prosecutors have accused Robert Anthony Camou of killing his girlfriend, who disappeared in July and whose body was not found, the prosecutor's office said Wednesday.
Camou, 27, of Monrovia, faces a murder leader with an allegation of special circumstances relating to the killing of a witness at the death of a woman identified by the district attorney's office as Amanda C., 31 years old.
Prosecutors believe that Camou killed the woman on or around July 29 while he was on bail for being accused of beating his girlfriend.
NBC Los Angeles reported that a Camou video recalling the burial of his girlfriend had surfaced, but on Wednesday night it was unclear whether it had played a role in it. murder charge.
In early August, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office named Camou as a suspect in the disappearance of Amanda Kathleen Custer, who reportedly was arrested against her will after a domestic violence incident on July 29.
