A developer is trying to install Android on Nintendo Switch

It's pretty crazy to see what kind of hardware can run Android, and almost more, so that talented developers can use the Google platform. Now, a developer is trying to bring Android to the Nintendo Switch, because why would not anyone try to do it?

The best gifts for Android users

First spotted by XDA developers, Regulations is trying to bring Android to the popular console Nintendo Switch. This should not really be a shock, because the form factor would allow it, and some even managed to make Linux work on the console. It's also funny because it was said for a long time that Android was Switch's operating system, but it was clearly not solved.

There is always a lot obstacles to get something like that operational. Currently, the operating system does not start after the "Android" startup screen. Even if that was the case, it seems likely that problems related to buttons, touch screen and radio are at stake. All drivers are made at home too, so even though the chip Tegra X1 under the hood is used on other devices, it will probably take a long time before it is more functional.

Also note, it's very, very unlikely to work with the Joy-Cons or the Dock Switch. It's basically a fun little project, and something you absolutely should not try at home.
