WILMINGTON, Del. – A driver deliberately kicked a pregnant woman in the stomach Saturday afternoon during a drive-in fight at Chick-fil-A in Bear, the national police said.

Jada Blake, 19, from Newark, was in the Chick-fil-A self-check queue when the driver of another vehicle tried to park in front of her, police said. The line of the restaurant frequently recedes in the street, blocking the traffic in the nearby shopping center.

Blake suddenly accelerated, blocking the vehicle to advance, and then went out to face the other driver, a 21-year-old pregnant woman, police said.

Blake hit the pregnant woman in the head and face through the open window, police said. When the second woman got out of her vehicle, Blake intentionally hit her belly, knowing that she was pregnant, the police said.

After the fight, Blake returned to his vehicle and continued to wait in the driving department, police said. The soldiers stopped her while she was still online.

The pregnant woman was taken to hospital with injuries and a life-threatening assessment, the police said.

Blake was charged with second degree assault, second level dangerous threat, threatening and disorderly conduct, with no evidence of insurance, reckless driving and possession of marijuana.

She was released from prison on bail of $ 5,103 without bail.
