Gloria Bejarano said her daughter, Maya Bejarano, was selling cookies in front of Kroger on Telephone Road Saturday just before the end of their shift.

Maya says that she was preparing an order for the suspect when he suddenly took the bag and left.

But Gloria says it's not the first time the suspect comes to the table.

"He once came in and said," I'm interested in cookies and I'm coming back right now, "so he was sort of watching us to see where everything was and what kind of opportunity he had." , she said. .

Maya told ABC13 Eyewitness News that she had been upset by the incident, but she and her mother thank Kroger employees who heard what happened and donated money. to compensate for stolen theft before the end of sales on March 31st.
