A man arrested after police attempted to stop a stolen car in southeast Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. – Police arrested a man in southeastern Portland on Sunday afternoon, after seeing him in a stolen car.

The officers say that they tried to arrest Leroy Daniels, but he did not stop. They then saw Daniels running on foot.

The Portland police managed to catch him in the neighborhood and place him in custody.

Daniels was later incarcerated at Multnomah County Prison for several charges, including possession of a stolen vehicle, reckless driving and possession of burglary tools. He is held on bail of $ 27,500.
