A man found dead in Burning Man, the sheriff's office says the cause "remains suspicious"

A man was found dead Thursday in the annual Black Rock desert in northwestern Nevada during the annual Burning Man festival, according to the Pershing County Sheriff's Office.

When the deputies arrived, they found the man under a medical tent and the doctors had determined that he had died. The body was transported to the Washoe County Medical Examiner's Office for autopsy.

The cause of death "remains under investigation as a suspect," said the sheriff's office in a statement.

The man was identified as Shane Billingham by the sheriff's office.
