WYOMING, Mich. (WXYZ) – A 5 year old Michigan boy was in urgent need of fast food early Sunday morning and, with his sleeping grandmother, he needed help.

Perhaps not yet able to place an online order on Grubhub or UberEats, Iziah Hall grabbed a phone and dialed three digits.

Dispatcher: "Kent County 911 What is your urgency?"
Iziah: "Can you bring me McDonalds?"
Dispatcher: "I'm sorry what?"
Iziah: "Can you bring me McDonalds?"
Dispatcher: "No, I can not bring you McDonald's."

Sara Kuberski was the dispatcher who answered the call of Iziah. She said

ABC13

"We meet a lot of people who let their kids play on their cell phones and many of them are turned off and the parents do not realize that they can still call 911."

She contacted a Wyoming police officer, Dan Patterson. He found the exchange quite amusing.

"I was laughing for myself … 5-year calls are sent and order to McDonald's," Patterson told ABC13.

The agent went home to make sure everything was fine, but decided to make a special stopover on the way.

"I figured I was driving in front of McDonald's to get there and that I could just as well bring him something," says Patterson.

The agent delivered the food to Iziah and used the visit as a learning lesson.

"We all thought it was really cool that Agent Patterson went there with McDonald's, which made our evening more enjoyable," Kuberski said.
