New images of Apple Park's drones reveal that the company has erected an unusual "rainbow" scene in the central courtyard, previously unknown to the outside of the company.

Captured at several times of the day, Duncan Sinfield's video shows not only a scene, but also teams working on setting up lighting and other equipment. Apple also seems to have generated a substantial audience space, sufficient for hundreds of people.

It is not clear when the construction started or what is the scene. It is likely that the company is planning an employee concert, which is relatively common among wealthy Silicon Valley companies looking to motivate and retain workers. The valley is famous for its turnover because many residents are sufficiently qualified and experienced to choose their employers.

It is also possible that Apple organizes a conference of personalities or a more mundane event such as an internal anniversary or award ceremony. Will, Jaden and Jada Smith visited an environmental event in April.

Drone flights have become less common on Apple Park since its construction was largely completed in early 2018.
