Lillard told the blazers during the fifth part: "We just need to come back here"

The Portland Trail Blazers' magic season and playoffs are about to end as they face a 3-2 series deficit against the Nuggets. At the end of Portland's loss to the Nuggets, Damian Lillard had the same message for each player (via Jason Quick of The Athletic):

"We just have to come back here," he repeated to each player.

"Here" means Denver, and the only solution is that Portland forces match 7 with a win 6 in Portland.

Maurice Harkless thought Lillard's simple but strong message was just what the team needed for the sixth match:

"I thought our leader's message was great," said Maurice Harkless. "He's right, the show is not over, it's far from over.

Lillard also talked about how some things are born to overcome adversity:

"Every time you have something special, it's not special because it was easy," Lillard said. "It's not special because you've never been in a difficult position. That's where we are: dealing with elimination, and that's what makes this activity so special. "
