A "quick fix" for capturing carbon dioxide?

CO2 is a powerful warming gas, but the atmosphere contains very little. For every million air particles, there are 410 CO2.

Gas helps to raise temperatures worldwide, but its relatively low concentration means that it is difficult to design effective machines to remove it.

But a Canadian company, Carbon Engineering, thinks they have found a solution.

The air is exposed to a chemical solution that concentrates CO2. Additional refinements mean that the gas can be purified in a form that can be stored or used as a liquid fuel.
