NEW YORK (WPIX / CNN) – New York police found an interest after two women were attacked by ax Saturday morning, but they have not yet revealed themselves.
Savannah Rivera, 20, was found murdered in her apartment.
Angela Valle, 21, who also lives on the spot, was seriously injured.
A 4 year old girl found in a separate room was not injured.
Police said at a press conference Saturday that she thought the victims knew their attacker. They found an ax in a dumpster nearby, but did not clearly identify it as the weapon.
