VANCOUVER, Washington (AP) – A woman who pleaded guilty to pushing her 16-year-old friend from a bridge in a popular bathing area near Vancouver was sentenced to two days in jail and 38 days of work in a county team.
Judge Darvin Zimmerman of the Clark County District Court on Wednesday sentenced Tay'lor Smith, 19, to serve a jail sentence for Jordan Holgerson's serious injuries.
Smith pleaded guilty earlier this month to a misdemeanor in a plea agreement.
Smith pushed Holgerson off the bridge on August 7 in Moulton Falls, northeast of Vancouver. The video posted widely on YouTube shows that Holgerson is pushed.
The 20-meter drop broke Holgerson's ribs, caused him serious bruising and punctured his lungs.
On Wednesday in court, she said she was still struggling with physiotherapy, pain, anxiety, and panic attacks.
Holgerson started crying during her testimony before the judge and a lawyer then read it for her, claiming that Holgerson was terrified when she was pushed and that she was in the house. water, persuaded that she was going to die.

She burst into tears when a deputy handcuffed her and took her out of the courtroom.
