TIGARD, Ore. (KPTV) – Tigard Police said two men robbed a couple near Fanno Creek Trail on Tuesday evening just after 8 p.m. and they were not arrested.
“I really didn’t think we were going to go through this,” said the victim of the theft.
One of the victims feels pissed off after the robbery near Southwest Johnson Street and Southwest Grant Avenue. She wants to keep her name anonymous for fear of reprisals.
She said the two not only took her purse and keys, but they also beat her boyfriend.
“All of a sudden, I turn around and see this van come to a halt very hard. I started trying to get away and two guys, two Hispanics got out of the truck and one of them screamed to drop everything, ”she said.
“My boyfriend tried to get my purse and keys back and they got into a fight with him and threw him in the ditch and apparently beat him.”
Police in Tigard said one of the men was Hispanic, in his 40s, around five feet tall with dark hair. The other man, they said, is short and stocky.
Their truck is described as a 2010-2012 Ford F-150 or 250 with tinted windows and possibly a canopy.
The woman said they forced her away from their truck when a witness came by.
“The woman driving asked me if I was okay and I said no, but I saw the guy following me running towards the car yelling at him to get out, so I shouted at him to drive” , she said. noted.
As soon as the witness left, she said the men got into their truck and left.
Although they did not need medical attention, she said she and her boyfriend were still suffering from the trauma it caused.
“He normally takes very regular walks on his own and he’s a little hesitant to do that right now, even in broad daylight,” she said. “Probably the scariest moment of my life.”
Tigard Police ask if you saw these men or if you know anything about the flight to call the police.
