Thanos has nothing against measles.
A Californian woman affected by measles reportedly witnessed last week's "Avengers: Endgame" screening last week – potentially exposing her fellow theater-goers to the disease, officials said Wednesday.
The woman in her twenties had recently visited a country with a measles epidemic and did not know she was afflicted when she went to the show, the Orange County Health Care agency told NBC4.
She went to work for a few days – then to the blockbuster film of the AMC Theater in Fullerton on April 25 – before realizing that she was sick.
The patient is now in quarantine.
Other moviegoers may have been exposed from 23h. at 4 am, the agency said.
The theater employees were shocked.
"The last place I expected was my job. I did not even wait in Orange County, "said Carlee Greer-McNeill, AMC Fullerton employee. "People, if you know you have measles, do not come to the movies, let alone in a public place."
This is the first case of measles reported in Orange County this year. Los Angeles County has announced that there were six cases on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, a public health emergency has been declared in New York following a massive epidemic.
