AC Valhalla update fixes NPC lip sync issues and other issues

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has had quite a few issues since its release late last year, and players are calling for fixes to improve its gameplay. Some of its more annoying issues include save bugs that corrupt data, prevent players from advancing in their game, or loading their progress. A patch released in January also inadvertently introduced a facial animation bug that desynchronizes NPCs’ lip movements with their dialogue. Now Ubisoft has announced an upcoming patch that will fix these issues and a long list of additional issues.

Based on the video game company’s changelog, update 1.1.2 fixes “NPC animation issues”. Although he didn’t explicitly mention the mouth bug Assassin’s Creed The franchise community manager on Reddit has confirmed that it is included in the issues that the patch is designed to address. The fix will also fix save issues, like the one that prevents the save of savegames made after hitting in Clues and Riddles from loading and another that causes data corruption errors to appear after entering the save menu.

In addition to the bug fixes, the update also comes with new features including the River Raids game mode which will allow raid players as much as they want and give them access to uncharted areas of England. It also brings new abilities – one of which called “Berserker Trap” gives players a way to attach traps like mind-blowing powder to their arrows. Finally, it includes some new skills, like the ability to carry a body after a successful assassination and to slip into enemies and unbalance them while sprinting.

Valhalla Update 1.1.2 will begin today at 7:00 a.m. EST
