The next time you call a car to share, you may want to get a hand sanitizer.

A new study from the insurance company Netquote indicates that the average carpool vehicle is 35,000 times more germy than a toilet seat.

The researchers compared three carpools, three taxis and three rental cars.

The study found that the areas most affected by germs are window pimples and seat belts.
