The Sons of Liberty Military and Veteran Support Riding Club hosted its seventh annual Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Bike Race. The profits of the race are donated to the Charles Tinley Memorial Disabled American Veterans Post 142 in the city of Dunkirk. “The Sons would like to thank everyone who helped make this happen: all of our helpers, everyone who donated for our basket draws, everyone who participated in our run and a special thank you to all services. police officers who helped us on our journey: Marshals, Gowanda Police Department, all Sherriff Departments, Hamburg Department and the best of Dave Ortolano and Dunkirk. And let us not forget our veterans, without whom we would not have the freedoms we enjoy. If we forgot to thank someone, we apologize.
In all, over $ 1,800 was raised through the hike.
