The first five teams of the next edition of the Esports League "Call of Duty" Activision were unveiled Thursday.

The first wave of teams has been announced. Teams based in Atlanta, GA, Dallas, TX, New York, NY, Paris, France and Toronto, Canada. Atlanta Esports Ventures, Envy Gaming, Inc., Sterling.VC, C0ntact Gaming, LLC., And OverActive Media will respectively be responsible for these teams.

Atlanta Esports Ventures is a joint venture between Cox Enterprises and Province, Inc., whose mission is to bring "the best sports in the city of Atlanta". AEV currently hosts the Atlanta Reign Overwatch League. Envy Gaming is the owner and operator of the Team Envy esports franchise and the "Overwatch" league team, Dallas Fuel. Sterling.VC is a technology, media and junior sports fund supported by Sterling Equities. He is the main owner of the New York Excelsior, which is part of the "Overwatch" League and the first professional sports team representing New York.

OverActive Media is an international sports company that owns the Toronto defender of the Overwatch league, while C0ntact Gaming is the parent company of the league's Overwatch team in Paris.
