The Ads Council on Thursday revealed a $ 500 million campaign titled ” It’s yours “, aimed at promoting coronavirus vaccines. (iStock).

The ad campaign, created in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is an initiative to educate consumers about the coronavirus vaccine and public safety. The ads will run on social media, TV, radio, and websites supported by more than 300 media companies, brands and medical leaders.

A video ad that aired Thursday responds to the uncertainty some Americans may feel about the vaccine. “You might be wondering, ‘Should I get it? “”

The ad ends with two people kissing at an airport and a little girl celebrating her birthday. “Because coming back to the times we missed starts with being informed,” says the narrator. Viewers are then encouraged to visit GetVaccineAnswers.org

About 40% of the public have yet to make a decision on whether or not they will be vaccinated, according to the Advertising Council, citing a study by Ipsos Public Affairs.
