Facebook Snooze Button
The News: To prevent spoilers from appearing and ruining your shows, books or movies on Facebook, the social platform has added a new feature. Keyword Snooze "in its News Feed commands.
Here's how it works: Before you post your next update to Facebook, select the arrow next to the "Post" button and click the "Put on hold" option. Facebook will automatically draw the keywords of the text of your posts and hide them for up to 30 days.
For example, if you publish on Game of Thrones and want to avoid spoilers of the next episode, Facebook will detect the keywords in your message and block any post future containing the keyword (s) selected for "repeat". However, it should be noted that this feature does not apply to advertisements.
Why it matters: The new feature allows you to further prioritize your content. According to the platform, although it aims to show you the most relevant messages on your news feed, it does not always correspond to reality.
Facebook says that's why it continues to bring out features such as "Keyword Snooze," "Hide," "See First," "Do not Follow Up," and "Snooze." The Snooze differs from the Snooze keyword, allowing you to hide messages from a user or page for 30 days rather than just the keywords.
The New Features of Instagram
The News: Instagram has been incredibly busy with the recent launch of its Instagram video hub IGTV, and now two new additional features: You're all caught and not disturb.
You're all caught: If you scroll through your Instagram feed, you'll soon notice a new message that pops up when you've marched past the last two days: "You're All Caught Up," he says.
It's the way to Instagram to inform you that you have already seen all the messages up to now and that you do not need to scroll further, which allows you to follow more easily what is happening in your news feed. It also ensures that you will not miss new messages – all you have to do is scroll down.
Do not disturb: TechCrunch reports that Instagram and Facebook are testing a new Do Not Disturb feature, which will allow you to disable your notifications from both apps for an entire day.

The Do not Disturb feature could be a preemptive way for Facebook and Instagram to prevent users from leaving social platforms all together. If you are a little irritated by the constant swarm of notifications from one or the other application, at least there is now a way for you to disable it – even if it is for a short period of time.
This will prevent you from the imminent threat of "social media addiction." If you are at an event or meeting, you do not want to be caught on your phone by watching funny animal videos.
WhatsApp one-way broadcast mode
The news: WhatsApp recently deployed a one-way communication flow for administrators. The new setting only allows administrators to send messages to WhatsApp groups.
Here's how it works: To enable the setting, all you need to do is open Group Info on the app, tap Group Settings> Send Messages, then select "Only Admins ". Keep in mind that you can only select this option if you are already a group administrator.
Why it matters: WhatsApp says it has launched this feature to allow teachers, parents or even non-profit organizations to broadcast important information without interruption to other users.
The feature could be a unique way for businesses to broadcast new events to the public, and keep them updated with alerts so messages do not get lost in the crowd.
