– Jaguar has registered the new nickname of C-Pace with EUIPO
– It's probably a new addition to Jaguar's growing SUV portfolio.
– It is said that the C-Pace is a coupe-SUV version of the F-Pace.
Jaguar is expanding its SUV portfolio since the introduction of their very first SUV – the F-Pace. In the year of the introduction of the F-Pace, the British car manufacturer introduced the E-Pace. And more recently, I-Pace has become its first all-electric Coventry product. There are reports of a life-size flagship SUV called the J-Pace that will arrive in a certain time in 2021. Now, the JLR has registered a new C-Pace appellation with the EUIPO (Office of Ownership intellectual property of the European Union).
The all-new C-Pace would be a new member of the Jaguar's growing SUV lineup. But, where he will be positioned in the SUV portfolio is still somebody guessing. After all, the E-Pace is an entry-level crossover and the F-Pace is the mid-size SUV. According to reports, the C-Pace could be a cut version of the F-Pace, but even that is uncertain at the moment.
The nickname C-Pace is registered according to several clbadifications which include clbadifications for computers, autonomous technology, motor vehicles and maintenance, repair and maintenance. It could be based on the same Range Rover platform and share most of its powertrain with the F-Pace. A hybrid powertrain was not excluded either. Jaguar could first introduce the new C-Pace to the Chinese market, where there has been a strong demand for SUVs lately. The new off-road could even be made in China to keep the cost competitive. There is no other information available at the moment and we will have to wait for the official word of the British car manufacturer.
