Tumi Morake kills 2018 as the queen that she is and was announced as the first African humorist to bag her own game on Netflix.
Tumi and Riaad Moosa are also set to fly the high flag as part of a stand-up comic series that features 47 comedians from around the world and will be aired next year. They will record 30-minute sessions for Netflix at this year's Just for Laugh comedy festival (19459004) in Montreal.
"There are incredible things going on and I'm beyond recognition, I'm doing my best and I hope to make my country proud."
The name of the series has not yet been published, but it promises to be "diverse in style, genre and ethnicity".
Riaad said that he was excited to be part of a series of this caliber.
"Netflix brings comedy to a whole new level and even though I've been part of several home promotions, I'm excited and honored to be part of a series of this caliber."
Tumi's husband and actor, Mpho expressed his pride of his latest achievement on social media.
