One of the most controversial aspects of President Donald Trump's trip to the United States is his scheduled meeting with Queen Elizabeth II at Windsor Castle on Friday. Hundreds of thousands of British have vowed to protest this visit, including the decision to honor him by a meeting of the head of state. But Trump joins a long line of American leaders who have met with the world's oldest monarch since his coronation in 1952. The queen has met 10 of the 11 US presidents who have held the position since then – all except Lyndon B. Johnson, who He only made state visits to Asia during his tenure.
