Truecaller Monday introduced a new call recording feature for its Android users worldwide. The company says this feature will help users report fraudulent calls and harbadment. Truecaller said in a statement that it's a step closer to upgrading premium offers aimed at making communication safe and effective by helping users report calls related to harbadment or fraudulent calls
from the Truecaller Caller ID screen. The recordings are then stored on the phone of the user. Users without a Premium Membership can benefit from a 14-day free trial on this feature, the company added.
The latest feature also helps users track important conversations with businesses, colleagues, or friends.
Truecaller said: "Users who identify new business clients to empower women in their fight against harbadment or wrongdoing, or to protect everyone from potential Truecaller fraud is there to protect calls and SMS. With the additional feature of recording calls, this will allow users to keep track of important conversations that they have with businesses, colleagues and people. "
