Last week, Huawei launched its Nova-3 smartphone-centric game in China with its proprietary GPU Turbo technology and four cameras. A report also claimed that the Chinese conglomerate could launch a rumored Huawei Nova 3i phone that should be an attenuated version of the Nova 3. Now an announcement on AliExpress has not only confirmed the existence of the Nova 3i, it has also revealed the price of the smartphone.
According to the list, the Huawei Nova 3i has two variants: storage 4 GB / 64 GB and storage 6 GB / 64 GB. The variant 4 GB + 64 GB is priced at $ 479.99 (about 32 900) and those who want to buy the 6 GB 64 GB version will have to pay $ 519.99 (about 35,600). Interestingly, the photos displayed with the list shows a phone without a notch. Earlier reports have claimed that Huawei Nova 3i will come with a notch. In another leak published by Slashleaks, a leaflet from the Vietnamese mobile commerce chain Gio Di Dong shows that the Huawei Nova 3i will be available in Vietnam for 11,990,000 VND (about Rs 35,300). Now come to specs, the Nova 3 smartphone features a full HD + 6.3 inch LCD screen with an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9 and a notch. It is powered by a Kirin 970 SoC with four Cortex-A73 cores rated at 2.4 GHz for performance tasks and four other Cortex-A53 cores. It will come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in memory. In the camera department, the phone sports a dual camera configuration with a 16MP sensor combined with another 24MP secondary sensor. Huawei Nova 3 also has two cameras at the front – 24MP + 2MP – with the function of unlocking the face. The phone houses a 3.750mAh battery with Huawei's Super Charge technology and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.
Meanwhile, the Huawei Nova 3i should feature the Kirin 710 chipset. We already mentioned earlier that it is available in two variants. It could come with a 16MP + 2MP sensor on the back, and a 24MP sensor combined with a 2MP sensor on the front. The Nova 3i is supposed to have a battery of 3,340mAh. The list on AliExpress shows that the phone is available in white, black, red and purple.
