The Bend Motorsport Park is located in the small town of Tailem Bend in South Australia, nestled against the Murray River and about an hour's drive from Adelaide. More than 100 million Australian dollars have been invested in the facility, with economic benefits already visible throughout the Coorong region.
The 911 GT2 RS has recently made its way to the all-new, state-of-the-art Bar facility from the very beginning, posting the first production car tour record for The Bend – the one that will likely stay awhile considering the tremendous performance of the most powerful 911 of all time.
Experienced Australian pilot Warren Luff has been selected as the driver of the "Widow Maker". Luff is also the performance car test driver for MOTOR Magazine, who collaborated with Porsche Cars Australia on the project.
