If you've been hoping for a brand new amiibo to add to Splatoon 2 Nintendo is about to fulfill your wishes in time for the holidays. The company sent a tweet during the weekend that was buried in all of their San Diego Comic-Con coverage that the media finally noticed, as they will give you a triple pack of characters to use with the Nintendo Switch game. [19659002] The pack will be released December 7, just in time for shopping and this will probably be one of the last updates that the game receives from Nintendo.

As many others have pointed out, the date of December 7 coincides also with the release of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate leading many to speculate that the Amiibos Splatoon 2 will have some sort of interaction with the fighting game. If this is indeed the case, it raises the question of what other amiibos will do with SSBU when it comes out this winter, or if there are more numbers that could serve a double goal. with their game and SSBU . Of course, let's be honest here: there is a good chance it will only provide cosmetic features in the game and nothing more.
