"Super Dangerous": Police warn of jumping moving cars for "In My Feelings" challenge

The "In My Feelings" challenge stormed social media this month, with thousands of people recording themselves dancing to rapper Drake's new hit song. The challenge of the dance was started by the Shiggy online personality, but since then it has become a dangerous new level, with some people self-rescuing by jumping moving cars to dance.

Police and security officials around the world warn of this trend and, in some cases, reprimand people who take part in this extreme version.

On June 29, Shiggy publishes a video on Instagram. Drake Street "In My Feelings". The video went viral and thousands of people, including celebrities, began filming and posting their own music videos.

Singer Ciara and her husband, NFL star Russell Wilson, shot their video in Cape Town, South Africa. Will Smith did his own dance "In My Feelings" at the top of a bridge in Budapest. And this is only a beginning. A search on the hashtag #InMyFeelingsChallenge on Instagram reports over 200,000 messages.

But the challenge soon turned into something more extreme. Not only do people dance on "In My Feelings", but they jump from moving cars and move in the middle of a street. People try to overtake other people's videos and get hurt in the process.

While some people seemed to manage to get out of a slow car and dance next door, others were injured trying to replicate the stunt. Some people have registered falling from the moving car. Others were dancing next to their cars in a busy street, risking being hit by oncoming vehicles. Some even posted videos of themselves dancing in the street.

The challenge has encouraged some police services in the United States and around the world to issue warnings. In Methuen, Mbadachusetts, police chief Joseph Solomon called the challenge "super dangerous" and urged people not to try it, reports Boston CBS

In Abu Dhabi, three social media influencers were arrested for taking part in the challenge, which "endangered their lives, offended public morality and violated the traffic law," reports Gulf News. In Dubai, anyone caught performing what has also become known as the "Kiki Challenge" points will get 23 black on their licenses as well as their impound car for 60 days, according to the Federal Traffic Act, News of the Gulf reports. in Spain also issued a warning against the dangerous challenge, reports AFP. The Mossos of Esquadra police force, in the Catalonia region of the country, tweeted that those participating in the InMyFeelingsChallenge could face criminal charges.

While many celebrities, like the infamous N dancer -Old Odell Beckham Jr., dance in the street, others participate in the challenge "In my feelings" safely. Riley, the daughter of the NBA star, Steph Curry, took up the challenge in getting out of a car – but it was a small car for kids in their driveway. And comedian Kevin Hart did the challenge on a stage – a suitable place to dance.
