Arriving 14 years after the first film, The Incredibles 2 was released in theaters to diverge critics and break box office records. If you have ever played a game LEGO whatsoever Star Wars Marvel Superheroes or any of the other games of cd, you played most of what LEGO the Incredibles has to offer. You will spend your time playing through a LEGOfied version of a story, beat waves of enemies, solve simple puzzles, and find new characters to play. New in this version is Family Builds. Family Builds is a mini-game that involves crushing the circle button with teams of three or four characters to build situation monuments to help you progress in the story. For example, in one of the missions, you must put a raging fire, and the only way to do this is to build a way to extinguish the flames. TT Games adds some spice to the formula by having you find a number of special building bricks before you can build, but after completing Family Builds in each of the game's missions, I found this feature repetitive.
During the 12 missions of the game, you recap several of the greatest moments of each film. I will not spoil the story of a movie, but know that this game will do it, so if you play it with someone, like a young kid, make sure you have seen the movies before. Fortunately, LEGO The Incredibles captures the funniest moments and dialogue. Some moments are filled for reasons of playability, such as when Elastigirl saves the ambbadador during a helicopter chase, but unfortunately, these extended scenes do not have much more sense than d & # 39; add to the clock of the game. In true LEGO there are many gags that add to the humor that made me laugh more than I would like to. admit. Be aware of the long loading times that occur when starting and exiting a mission.
Combat has not seen much upgrading here, but is still a fun experience brewing buttons. Just like the superheroes of your youth, each character has a great movement that triggers once you've built your combo. Speaking of criminals, LEGO The Incredibles let criminals unleash on the cities of Municiberg and New Urbem with Crime Waves. These cities are divided into districts which, when attacked, begin a series of secondary missions to be accomplished. These missions break down to go here, beat that wave of enemies, and get back to who you were talking to. Sometimes you will be forced to fight a boss such as The Underminer or Syndrome. Boss fights are a typical three-phase confrontation, where they can only take damage after they have executed a certain pattern. Young children can have a challenge with these fights, but not the seasoned players. After crossing a crime wave, you will discover icons on the map (to find gold bricks and other secrets) as well as another type of Family Build, the Pixar Build. These are unique constructs that unlock specific Pixar characters.
The character selection makes or breaks the games LEGO and this one is no different. With over 100 characters and dozens of unlockable vehicles, collectors are not lacking in obsession. Unfortunately, the selection of characters is fast. I enjoyed winning another version of the Incredible family, like Bob Parr in costume and tie. I also liked the Pixar builds. Imagine my surprise to discover that Dory, from Finding Nemo and Finding Dory is a character to unlock. Yes, fight crime as she is as hilarious as you can imagine, but unlocking a security guard or Reflux is not as amazing as you want. You will meet dozens of superheroes, many of whom have not been in any movie, so you will not have attachment to them as you can do as Spider-Man or Han Solo . Unlocking Pixar's characters made me wish that TT Games had spent its time on a full set of Pixar instead of a hyper-concentrated IP
Similar to the Past LEGO [19659003] games, LEGO The Incredibles is simple to pick up, but difficult to put. Throughout my 15 hours of playing, I loved hitting enemies and breaking LEGO models while watching my counter grow, all in cooperation with my fiance. The fans of dozens of LEGO games will not be disappointed, but if you are looking for a game LEGO that breaks the mold, you may have to wait for the next title in the long franchise duration.
