The sixth installment of the Mission Impossible franchise brings deadly stunts, spectacular cinematography and Tom Cruise at its best.

Rating: 4/5

Mission Impossible: Fallout discovers that Ethan Hawke (Tom Cruise) and his team have been racing against the clock after a mission failed to prevent a global disaster from occurring .

I must admit that it was a while since I was watching one of the Mission Impossible movies and that everyone was telling me that they were good, but I did not just watch the news incarnations of the franchise.

Fortunately, these films, for the most part, are stand-alone films, so going blind will not let you wonder what's going on.

Cruise in these films almost perfected his portrait of our protagonist. Which is logical, since he has been playing Hawke for over 10 years. It's spectacular cinematography, however, that makes Mission Impossible movies special and a must-see at the movies, with director Christopher McQuarrie giving both beautiful scenic scenes as well as action sequences. heart racing.

What really set these films apart with regard to immersiveness is the fact that Cruise is doing a lot of its stunts.

This gives the director the opportunity to give the public shots that otherwise would not be able to do so had he relied heavily on a doubled.

The support cast also brings their game-A with Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames perfectly complementing Cruise's performance.

The only weak link in the chain is Henry Cavill. As I had mostly seen in the DCEU as Superman / Clark Kent, I gave Cavill the benefit of the doubt because the current state of affairs out there in the band franchise drawn from Warner Bros. is a disaster.

Still in Man of Steel, in the Batman v Superman and Justice League scripts, they had not given him much in terms of character. However, in Mission Impossible, Cavill has the emotional impact of a wax figure. His face is barely changing and he makes no clear distinction between anger, sadness and joy.

Cavill is really a pretty face with very little reach and he did not even take off his shirt. What good is having this beautiful specimen of man in a movie, without showing it half naked? This, fortunately, is the only negative point of the film.

The rest is a fun movie tour. It's even better to watch it at IMax, which really shows the spectacular way in which this movie was filmed. If there is an action movie to watch now, then that is it.
