Press Release [19659007] AfterShock Comics, the most vibrant industry of the independent publishing house, goes on another televised deal, bringing The Lost City Explorers to the small screen. In partnership with creator Zack Kaplan, AfterShock signed an agreement with Universal Television to produce the title.

The Lost City Explorers is a sci-fi series centered on a group of teenagers who become underground urban explorers. the expedition leads to the disappearance of one of their fathers. Following in his footsteps during a trip through the underground tunnels, they finally find the Holy Grail of Lost Cities, Atlantis, buried just under New York City. The book is written by Zack Kaplan with the art of Alvaro Sarraseca and the colors of Dee Cunniffe.

Zack emerged as an escape, a new voice in comics. In just two short years he has launched three science fiction series in progress with his early successes Eclipse and Port of Earth for Image / Top Cow and most recently with The Lost The Explorers of the City .
