Apparently it's pretty much a distant rumor, but can be treated as something that could prove true because this rumor seems to come from one and only, Neil Druckmann . So canines in the last of us 2? Well, this could be an interesting addition to the game.
As mentioned earlier, this news came after the game director, Neil Druckmann recently made an interesting tweet of his official Twitter account. He posted his picture, in which he is accompanied by a dog in a mocap costume.
While he said nothing more than the caption "#YearOfTheDog", he wore the shirt, which wrote The Last of Us on it. So, of course, the speculations were through the roof after the post. Most fans are of the opinion that this could be a tease involving, who will be the NPC companion in the game.
Still considering the game's known hostility, this sounds a little strange, maybe to be that they are in the game but may not be as friendly as we expect to be. All this is only speculation at the moment but one thing is certain and it is the fact that Naughty Dog, will not blow dogs for no reason.
On top of that, we are all aware that Druckmann has a tendency, like the audacity to shoot this kind of stunts. So we fans have a valid reason to wait for Canines in the last of us 2.

That said, hostility in The Last Of Us 2 seems to have taken a notch. According to Druckmann, the violence in the game will have a different take on the audience, it will not only be for fun, in fact, it would create really attractive moments for the players.
