The HBO drama series "Game of Thrones" sinks next year, and with the conclusion of its eighth season, the new iterations of Adidas Ultra Boost sneakers are raging in fans.
The Twitter account Yeezy Mafia, a popular source for leaks and insider information, has released several re-imagined "Game of Thrones" sneaker teasers. Tweets note that the shoes should come out in 2019.
The latest insights, released last week on Friday, featured two versions of styles that depict the Targaryen House, one in cream and silver (a nod to the Silver-Haired Targaryens) and "fire and blood", which bows the head of Targaryen fire-breathing dragons with its black and red to yellow upper lines on the forehead. The two tabs of the heel indicated: "Fire and blood".
Other early looks include White Walkers with an ice blue and white top with spotted blue markings and the three black stripes. It recalls the piercing blue eyes of the antagonists, the white hair and the snowy house of the North. "Winter is Here" is on the heel tab, hinting at the season 7 finale in which white walkers broke through the wall that kept them away from ruling families. Similarly, Night Watchmen, guardians of the Northern Kingdom, wear shoes on a white midsole with a black stain and white flecks that pay tribute to their all-black clothing. "Night Watch" is engraved on the heel tab.
The Lannister House, known for its golden hair, red coats and lion seals, is visible on a red stalk with spots and three gold stripes on an Ultra Boost sole. The tab of the heel reads: "Listen to me roar."
Meanwhile House Stark takes black and dark gray colors on a silver Ultra Boost outsole. The heel tab of the North House reads as follows: "Winter is coming".
