A few minutes later, the Twitter account Made by Google responded, now suggesting that she put the phone in airplane mode and try to take a picture. Putting aside the absurdity of this solution, it did not work either. She received one last note when she explained that nothing she had tried was to help, revealing that the Pixel team is aware of "the fatal mistake of the camera" and is currently working on a solution:

Reports of users encountering this error began to appear a few weeks after the launch of Pixel 2, making it all the more disconcerting it took Google so long to issue an answer. And keep in mind that it's just a tweet spotted by a Redditor, not an official statement. Now the question is whether Google will publish a fix before the Pixel 3 is unveiled this fall.
