Samsung phones like the Galaxy S9 have a second hidden app store inside. Called Galaxy Apps, it offers games, free digital stickers, apps for Samsung DeX and exclusive offers from Samsung partners.

But if you hit the wrong button when you open Galaxy Apps for the first time, you sign up for ads and alerts.
They differ from your usual application notifications like Facebook and Gmail, so you will not be able to silence them in the usual notification settings menu.
Fortunately, it's not difficult to close the Galaxy Apps notifications.
- Open Samsung Folder
- Open Galaxy Apps
- Tap the Hamburger Menu (a three-point vertical button) in the upper right corner
- Press Settings
- Press Notifications
- slide the button on "off"
